Prince Rama, heir to the kingdom of Ayodhya, is exiled to the forest along with his wife Sita due to palace intrigue. Their trials in the wilderness culminate in Rama’s heroic battle to rescue Sita from the demon king Ravana, with help from Hanuman and an army of monkeys. The story concludes with Rama’s triumphant return and coronation, highlighting themes of loyalty, courage, and justice.

Göran Frölen
Composer/Scriptwriter
Göran Frölen is a Swedish musical theatre composer and writer with a B.A. in Musical Theatre. Since beginning his career in 1998, he has been deeply fascinated by the power of combining storytelling with drama and music—a passion that has driven his creative work.
To date, he has composed nine narrative-driven musicals, a musical audiobook, and a musical monologue about Hildegard of Bingen, as well as the score for Joan the Musical, based on the life of Joan of Arc. In collaboration with Dmitry Orlov, he co-wrote “The Prince of India” a full-scale production inspired by the ancient Indian epic, the Ramayana. Through his work, he continues to explore the timeless connection between music, myth, and human emotion.

Dmitry Orlov
Composer/Arranger/Orchestrator
Dmitry Orlov is a composer and arranger from St. Petersburg, Russia, now based in Athens, Greece. He studied composition, arrangement, and jazz improvisation at St. Petersburg University of Musical Art & Culture, as well as viola and violin at the N. Rimsky-Korsakov Music College.
Dmitry works across a variety of musical styles, from orchestral pieces to theatre scores and vocal music. He enjoys blending musical genres and collaborating with musicians from diverse backgrounds.
His compositions, such as Symphonic Blake, have been performed in places like Teatro di Milano and Castello di Sforzesco.
